Explanations and practice with the organisational markers "therefore" and "as a result": how they are used to indicate a logical sequence or cause-and-effect relationships in writing.

Although use/understanding of formal discourse markers (organisational markers, signal words, connectives, ) is introduced at Entry Level 3 (see curriculum mapping below) , I would suggest that the sentence structure and vocabulary used in the practice tasks are for Level 2 (and beyond).
