High frequency words

An amazing series of 16 worksheets that focus on the 100 most frequent words as used in the school-based Letters & Sounds reading scheme (available free – for details see teaching notes within the resource or visit http://nationalstrategies.standards.dcsf.gov.uk/ and type Letters and Sounds in the search box).
The sheets are all written for adults (topics include domestic violence, being jilted at the altar, old age, family arguments and much more) and include reading and writing activities, sets of small word cards, a word checklist and large flashcards. Covers almost all Entry 1 Reading and writing elements.
