Based on a text about the annual St Patrick's Parade in London. Aimed at L1 /L2 Reformed Functional Skills learners but also includes some Entry Level questions. A multi-skill worksheet that incorporates speaking, listening, reading and writing, based on a short (1:22) BBC news video about a 100th birthday trip to London. Aimed at E3 / L1, but suitable for higher level E2 and for L2 as a recap (for L2 - elicit examples of the grammar and instructions beforehand).

Question themes include: street parties and English weather.
Topics covered include writing large numbers, calendars, time, symmetry, money, division, rounding, money, bar charts, temperature, fractions and tallies.

Most are accompanied by simple writing frames for a scaffolded approach.
Also includes simple grammar/spelling proof reading exercise, spelling (missing vowels) and extension/summative tasks with less scaffolding. Ideal for (and fully mapped to) E1-2 Functional English writing.
