Use ordinal numbers, from first to fifth, when describing the position of (a) objects (b) people (c) events
During practical activities, highlight for learners how ordinal numbers can be used to state the position of people in a queue, objects that are lined up, pages in a document, taxis in a rank, sessions in a day, who will go first in an activity, etc.
