Paired game. Work your way across the hexagonal sections of the game board. Great way to reinforce tables and division facts but also fits in well with L1/2 fraction work when learners find it difficult to simplify fractions. Three sets of game boards and cards for E3, L1, L2 plus blanks to make your own game.
8 level 1 multiple choice questions.
Please also downlaod the separate answer sheet (below)
Note: look carefully! Questions are all different to v1 questions (see below)
First used in a pre-GCSE maths (L1-2) class for: mental maths, number patterns, multiples, helping with division (if you don’t know your tables) and much more. For all levels from E2-L2. Six 100 squares on page 1, six times-table squares on page 2. Print back to back on pastel paper, laminate, cut up and give to learners to keep. Print on paper and use to investigate number patters (e.g. highlight all multiples of 4 in 100 square, highlight square numbers in tables square, etc.)
Covers all aspects of L1-2 whole number place value – comparing, ascending / decending ordering, greater than / less than symbols, writn gnumbers as words, etc. Similar questions to version 1 (see below) but numbers have been altered. Separate answer sheet (see below).
