My L1 learners were really struggling to remember what to do to convert units of measurement and were getting very confused at the initial stage, so I made this resource and laminated it so that it was available for them to look at if they couldn’t remember. Could also be made into a poster.
A resource I created to support my students getting used to what they needed to divide or multiply by to convert between units. Can easily be laminated for repeated use, or increased in size and turned in to a poster.

A super poster / mnemonic to help learners remember the difference between kilo- and milli- . It uses a very small and an extremely large cake as examples!
How to times and divide is a set of beautifully clear handouts (or classroom posters) for E2-3. Covers single and 2-digit numbers in a step by step fashion.
First used in a pre-GCSE maths (L1-2) class for: mental maths, number patterns, multiples, helping with division (if you don’t know your tables) and much more. For all levels from E2-L2. Six 100 squares on page 1, six times-table squares on page 2. Print back to back on pastel paper, laminate, cut up and give to learners to keep. Print on paper and use to investigate number patters (e.g. highlight all multiples of 4 in 100 square, highlight square numbers in tables square, etc.)
