ICT Project about British Values - based on City & Guilds Level 1 Functional ICT assessments.

• Task 1 - Internet research and copying and pasting
• Task 2 - Excel activity - including formula, adding a chart, formatting
• Task 3 - PowerPoint activity - adding slides, animation, images etc.
• Task 4 - Create a poster on Word
• Task 5 - Databases - sort and filter 
• Task 6 - General ICT Knowledge

I have created a paper based initial assessment for ICT to identify if students should be working towards Level 1 or Level 2.

A recap exercise where Functional English learners match the correct aspects of formal letter writing together and lay them out in letter format.

This could be printed out and laminated but I usually give my students a printout of the first pages and they cut out the text boxes and arrange them appropriately. I have included some red herrings such as incorrect text alignment and unsuitable salutations and closures.

I have included my suggestion of the correct layout on the third page.

This is a fabulous board game created as a fun and gentle introduction to L1-2 Functional ICT (or other ICT type classes). It also makes a good ice breaker at the beginning of term. Best printed onto A3 and laminated.
