British Values project based on ICT Level 2 City and Guilds covering all content including

• Task 1 - Internet Research, Word
• Task 2 - Excel IF / AND, charts, formatting, formulae,  etc
• Task 3  - PPT with images, animation, etc.
• Task 4 -  Mail Merge (needs memo.txt and employees.txt - see below)
• Task 5 - Word, poster
• Task 6  - Access database (needs training.txt file - see below)
• Task 7 -  General ICT  Knowledge 

Completing these challenges will help students to create a basic PowerPoint that runs automatically and provides evidence through printed handouts.

I think the learning outcomes quoted above relate to the OCR ICT Award  (or similar) but this beautifully clear, step by step task sheet is ideal for any Level 1-2 ICT course.

I have created a paper based initial assessment for ICT to identify if students should be working towards Level 1 or Level 2.

Rugby themed task on reading (use of quotations and dialogue, facts versus opinions), researching and writing a short article. I’ve adapted a resource made by Janet Wilkins on your site in 2008 (see link below under See also), on global best selling singles-making a pie chart. I’ve updated it for the digital age! You’ll see what I mean…..enjoy.
