This is a fun activity which encourages learners to use IT vocabulary to identify common devices, emojis and icons. It includes a link to an on-screen Wordwall activity where they can test what they already know about devices and common computing icons.

I have created a paper based initial assessment for ICT to identify if students should be working towards Level 1 or Level 2.

Practice some of the skills needed for ICT Functional skills and also a bit of fun. Can be used individually, in pairs or groups. Two lots of 15 questions with fill-in answersheet attached.

Lovely interactive crossword. 13 clues. Would make a good group activity on an interactive whiteboard.

To run, unzip the file (select “Extract all files”) into a new folder and click on *partsofspeechhotpotcrossword *to run.

20 very useful images depicting the main MS Office tool buttons (copy, paste, font, align left, etc.). Originally created and used in a class of ALDD students on preCLAIT (but useful for any introductory ICT class). Print in colour on A4 paper and laminate for re-use.
