PowerPoint Straightforward but very useful introduction to computers for preEntry and Entry 1 students. Ideal to use before playing the accompanying bingo game.
Bingo Eight different boards. Call out the name of the part (or write on the class whiteboard for a literacy group). First to complete a line wins (use counters to cover, or laminate and cross off with a dry wipe pen).

First created for E3 MV students and a fabulous way to motivate students by using technical vocabulary from their own area of study. Includes info/answer sheet, matching game (12 words), alphabetical ordering, spelling and a crossword. For individual or group challenges.

A 16 piece triangular jigsaw puzzle where pairs or small groups of learners must match 18 words to their correct definitions. Use as an ice breaker or plenary activity. Guaranteed to create promote discussion as learners solve puzzle (best laminated). As usual with Tarsia puzzles, you can choose to print a standard or large puzzle (select Output – large, i.e. 3 pieces per A4 sheet).

A beautiful set of bingo games for preEntry and E1 literacy/ESOL. Choice of word or picture tiles provides easy differentiation, plus there is a second game with larger bingo boards and more white space (often better for SLDD students).
