Vitali Klitschko – Boxer: E3-L2 Reading text and questions

Reading text for Entry Level 3-  Level 2 FS English with exam-style questions. 

Practice material for the Reading exam. Especially for students with an interest in Boxing.  The reading in this text is quite difficult for Entry but I thought it was worth it for the current worldwide political interest that forms part of his story. My Entry 1 learner enjoyed the work and I helped him with the reading. I tell my students to concentrate on reading the content and in this instance call the main character 'V', for example, except when they are writing the name and then it can be copied. 

Editor's notes

As Jacqui says, the text is challenging (and lengthy) and Entry Learners will need support. However, the questions cover a wide range of topics (vocabulary, punctuation, detail, purpose, etc.) and reading abilities so there's something to suit everyone here - especially boxing fans!
