English - Food Waste slides

 Love this! A combination of texts and videos are used to question, and encourage listening and research skills. For reading, a series of short texts are used to consolidate various comprehension skills including fact & opinion, using organisational features and key vocabulary. For writing, there are two ideas/prompts for formal letters. Underpinning skills such as punctuation (e.g. the use of capital letters for abbreviations) are also covered.
