An interesting worksheet that covers both literacy and numeracy. Best used with an interactive food label on the UK Government Eatwell site but the questions can also be answered using the provided printout.

Using a newspaper article to interpret numbers and use decimals, fractions and percentages. This resource introduces the learner to billions, but the majority of questions and process are aimed at Level 1 (with some suitable for Entry 3).

Lovely, rather unusual ratio worksheet. One question involves working backwards from a paint mixing chart to discover what colour paint you will end up with! Covers all combinations of conversion: fraction to decimal, percentage to fraction, etc, etc. plus simplifying / cancelling down. Mapped to adult numeracy and Functional Maths.

A 16 piece jigsaw puzzle where the triangular pieces form a parallelogram. Learners to match up questions on fractions of money to the correct answers. Use for revision or as a warm-up activity.
