Open task where learners must plan a good value party for 68 children and present their budget to the headmaster. Ideal for revision of money, decimals, budgeting, estimating and presenting information.

I used Helen’s idea for an activity that my level 1 & 2 numeracy students could use as a group while I was on another course. It was also to address a comment from an observation from our local authority observer who noted that there was not enough collabaration between students in the lesson she observed.
I have sent my version to Maggie and I hope it will help others.
