I before E or E before I? Eclipse crossword

Crossword with 27 words and clues – increase awareness of this well known spelling rule (and its exceptions!). Created to accompany a set of multi-sensory card based activities (see below) on the same topic. Makes a good warm up or revision activity.

Once installed, use the Eclipse software to load up the files, edit or add to the word list and clues, and print them out as puzzles. Puzzles can be printed with or without word bank, clues, answer sheet, etc. They can also be saved as images or interactive web page crosswords (these make good whole class activities when used on an interactive whiteboard).
