I used this last year as a fun activity on the last week of term. It was really successful. My centre manager requested that we make some this year to decorate our families’ and children’s centre.
As my level 1 maths group was in danger of being cancelled as our local schools are closed, I invited my students to bring their children with them and we had a wonderful morning creating these fantastic decorations. Our centre manager is delighted.
Thank you for this activity. It has, and will, give pleasure to our families. We used red, gold, white and dark green A4 paper in lots of different combinations.
The children experimented with size and have all gone home to make more.
