Sort or match cards

A set of two resources:
PPT with audio, so you can leave students pressing the left button and repeating the words, while you attend to others. 13 different objects such as pen, stapler, ruler, etc. are covered.
Classroom equipment cards
These cards show some items of vocabulary for equipment which could be requested in class. 12 different objects such as calculator, pencil case, rubber, etc. are included. Cards can be used with or without the words attached – see ideas below.

A super, card based matching activity where clauses must be joined by the correct conjunction.

Supercars (including the President’s Cadillac, and an Aston Martin with an ejector seat) consists of two detailed, differentiated E1-E2 2.5 hr lesson plans complete with resources.

A handy set of six colour-coded groups of words to be sorted by first letters – or combine groups and sort by first and second letters.

A card based activity to assess students’ knowledge of ‘parts of speech’. Very useful as a prompt for discussion and as a launching point for work on sentence structure.
