An interesting way to improve pie chart skills – whether the chart is calculated and drawn ‘by hand’ or in a spreadsheet. With answer sheet and extension ideas.
Selecting, highlighting and formatting practice – 4 different documents (of varying complexity). A poem about cats; a restaurant menu; information about dogs, cats and trees! (some are also suitable for reading & comprehension work). Two include formatting instructions, others are to be reproduced as closely as possible to practice advanced formatting skills.
20 very useful images depicting the main MS Office tool buttons (copy, paste, font, align left, etc.). Originally created and used in a class of ALDD students on preCLAIT (but useful for any introductory ICT class). Print in colour on A4 paper and laminate for re-use.
