An Australian version (i.e. uses A$, Australian vocabulary and minimum wage details, etc.) of the popular Stash the Cash written by Andy Morrell in 2010. In addition to currency changes this version also includes an extra version of the calculations table and other changes. For example, the table on page 3 has extra columns to make the mathematical operations explicit and to allow students to practise writing mathematical “sentences”.

Pancake Day in Exdale is a multi-level graduated Functional Maths workbook for Entry Level 1 to Level 2. A front page overview allows the teacher or learner to decide which levels and topics to work on. All questions are based on one or other of two texts (pancake meals at the local pub and special offers in the Exdale Cook Shop). The emphasis throughout is on problem solving and showing working out.

At Entry Levels the main coverage is time, dates and money. Levels 1 and 2 include questions on time, converting between measures, circumference, percentage discount and mean.

A resource I designed to help my L1 Functional Maths learners revise and check on areas they needed to work on. Covers ratio, mean, percentages, problem solving, fractions, area , volume and more!

**Editor's note**

Fabulous practice and revision! Fully mapped to the Reformed Functional Maths criteria. **If you are a resource contributor, an answer sheet is available :) **

See our Answer Sheets page for more details.

Sparked after reading an article about a UK Which? report in The Guardian newspaper, and made in haste, this resource is aimed at Entry Level 3 (E3) and Level 1 (L1) learners but includes some E1-2 and L2 questions. There is no answer sheet – one *might* appear later for skillsworkshop contributors – but the teaching notes do include general marking guidance.

A challenging set of L1-2 maths questions that celebrate 50 years since the first Moon landing. Covers new reformed content such as compound measures and 3 figure bearings. Plus an introductory PPT with background information and pop up answers.

**Editor's note**

Fully mapped to the new reformed Functional Maths content. **The answer sheet, which includes detailed working out and marking guidance, is only available to site contributors. Please see details within the resource.**
