A beautiful set of 5 games and activities at text, sentence and word level. Includes word fill, word search, cloze exercise and more. Ideal for end of term lesson (or the beginning of the autumn term when holidays are being discussed) with answer sheets and teaching ideas.

A quick activity where you have to delete the incorrect pronoun. 18 sentences – good for homework. This resource complements Amanda’s other pronoun resources.

Introduction to the past tense simple is a step by step series of info sheets, exercises, card game and comprehension. Covers both regular and v. common irregular verbs.

Mixed ESOL resources for E1 beginners is a wonderful collection of resources for new students. 9 pages cover likes/dislikes, key vocabulary such as numbers, months, etc.; simple comprehension; asking and giving personal information plus a final review to check that students have remembered everything.

Substantial practice with reading times (to nearest 5 minutes) and then drawing the hands correctly on blank clock faces. Although listed under numeracy this also makes ideal key word reading practice for Entry 1 ESOL.

Written for ESOL students with good basic numeracy skills who were taking the test without attending numeracy classes. However these notes are brilliant for any Level 1 numeracy student (who should also refer to the E3 tips below).
