Suitable for guided reading with Entry level learners in the run up to Christmas, this version of Dickens’s classic Christmas story (first published in 1843 and never out of print since) has been created using content downloaded from https://www.ego4u.com/en/read-on/literature/christmas-carol on 26th October 2016 and only slightly adapted for use as a paper resource.

An outstanding resource for E1 emerging readers. Based on a humorous story, this set of multi-sensory phonics activities includes a 2 page story; detailed tutor notes; various sets of word cards for spelling, reading, rhyming, listening/speaking and alphabetical order activities; and a crossword.

Fully mapped to Entry 2 Functional English (reading; speaking, listening and communication) and the adult literacy curriculum. Page 1 is for reading practice (or for the tutor to read aloud to the students), page 2 can be chopped up and used as a re-ordering exercise.
