Two beautiful worksheets. The first is for collecting and recording information about yourself and a friend. The second if for making questions (by rearranging the given words) to ask a friend. Originally used with the DfES ESOL E1 Skills for Life materials (Unit 1 – Getting started) but can be used alone.

Recognising and using long and short vowels. Great for reading and spelling. The ‘fill in the vowels’ exercise also helps with basic grammar and sense.

49 slides to use as needed for spelling and vocabulary practice with ESOL and Literacy students. Could also be printed out (for example, 6 to a page) and used as traditional card flashcards.
