ESOL Sd/E3.1f Make arrangements or plans with other people

ESOL > Speaking > Engage in discussion > Sd/E3.1f Make arrangements or plans with other people
(i) Ask for and make suggestions, accept and reject suggestions and make offers, using I'll Example: Plan a class party: I'll bring some... Why don't you bring...? What kind of music shall we have?
(ii) Understand and follow a usual structure for this type of discourse, such as: make a suggestion, reject with a reason, make an alternative suggestion, reach agreement or compromise, conclude.
Example: Make arrangements to go out with another person: Shall we go to the 6 o'clock show? Maybe, but I think I'd rather go to the late show. I'd like to eat something first. Okay, right, so we'll meet at the cinema at 8.30.
