Rw/E2.5a Sequence words using basic alphabetical ordering skills
(i) Use knowledge of alphabetical sequencing to locate words, e.g. use initial letter and following letters to locate the starting point quickly
(ii) Use scanning skills to find an appropriate starting point for searching an alphabetical list

Cut and order word sort based on transport, money and grammar terms.  Tasks and extension tasks on the same sheet. Scissors needed for separating the cards. Works best with students working in pairs.
