Follow the gist of discussions (i) Recognise the topic and purpose of a discussion and understand that discussions can serve different purposes, e.g. to make plans, solve a problem, or air views. E.g. Group discussion: planning an event. (ii) Make contributions relevant to the topic under discussion.
