Lr/E1.2b Listen for detail and respond, in a face-to-face situation
- make use of gesture and eye contact to aid understanding
- be able to signal they are listening, by using markers, e.g. I see
- understand the importance of checking back when listening for detail, and be able to do so. Example: - Can you come on Monday at 4pm? - Monday? 4pm?
- be able to signal lack of understanding/ask for clarification
