Important Information - Please Read

Worksheets and handouts are available in a variety of formats:

Copyright of all worksheets (unless a contributor's name is given on the resource) remains with Maggie Harnew, the site owner. Worksheets may not be sold, used for profit, or added to other web sites. Do contact Maggie if you have resources you would like to share, or have any queries.

PDF worksheets provide the best formatting and print quality. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to view or print these files. It is available as a free download from Adobe.

PDF Adobe Acrobat file

DOC Word document

XLS Excel spreadsheet

PPT PowerPoint slide show

ZIP Zip file (for large files)

To view or print these resources left click on PDF, DOC, XLS, ZIP or PPT signs. Right click to save to your hard disk. ZIP files will 'unzip' automatically in Win XP.

Please do not leave this site believing that adult basic skills can be improved purely through the use of worksheets! Nothing can beat good teaching (preferably using everyday examples of direct relevance to the student) and plenty of two way discussion!

However, I do hope these resources will be helpful, whether used to introduce new ideas, reinforce and revise topics already covered, or for private study and confidence building.
