7/5/02 Adjective Games and Associated Spellings: A huge selection of word and sentence level games, starters and worksheets. Can be used independently or with text level work on descriptive writing - see our House Ads shared text (below) and descriptive writing lesson plans.

Rules for Sherbet Lemons adjective game (thanks to Teachit's English Resources for this idea found in their KS3 writing skills) complete with our whiteboard prompt cards and illustrated fill-in sheets. 4 spelling adjectives worksheets (concentrating on suffixes - at 3 different levels) with answer sheets. 24/3/02 UPDATED sorry, we inadvertently altered settings in the 3 PDF files so that they could only be read in Acrobat v5. Many thanks to the user who reported this error. The instructional text worksheets can now be read in Acrobat Reader versions 3, 4 and 5.

Instructional Texts: study the group lesson plan  before using the worksheets.  Three versions designed for Levels E2, E3, L1 (also suitable for L2) . Worksheets can be used to investigate instructive texts on the web or traditional printed texts if students have no internet access. Three 4-page worksheets, each 30K.
