An unusual and challenging task that cleverly captures the tricky topics of tone and style. Learners are given three letters of complaint from the same author – about a trip to Snowdonia that went wrong.
Learners must first work out the order that the letters were written.This is followed by punctuation, comprehension, paragraphing, vocabulary and writing tasks. Differentiated questions for Level 1 and Level 2.
