Making plurals

Making plurals is a series of 6 worksheets which encourage learners to discover spelling rules for themselves. With lots of ideas for converting to multi-sensory activities and extension work. Covers plurals of: words ending in o, words ending in y, words ending in f or fe, irregular plurals, words ending in hissing sounds (ch, sh, x, etc) and words with no singular form. Aimed at Level 1 but suitable for E3-L2 mixed ability classes including ESOL.
