The new site is amazing. It took me a while to navigate but, as soon as I found the right buttons to click, I was really impressed by the speed, clarity and suggested links. On the old site I had to trawl through a load of resources which were not appropriate for either the subject I was researching, or the level of teaching.
Yes, it is different from the brightly coloured old site, but so clean and fresh and you can search for a particular subject and level very easily.
Maggie does a fantastic job with this site. How many people would spend so much time on a project, voluntarily, to assist a cause that she is passionate about; adult literacy and numeracy.
I wrote the Readwell Road stories. Lots of you have downloaded them and have used them in your teaching. I hope you have found them both useful and enjoyable. Maggie inspired me to publish them as books. I am pleased that she gave me that encouragement. I would not have done it otherwise.
