Task: You are selling your house or flat...
Create an illustrated advert (persuasive description) that you could put in the newspaper or estate agent's window or web page.
Alternatively, write an estate agent's description of your "dream house" or a house that you would like to buy.
A third alternative was introduced for students who has missed a session and were short of time: copy and paste a description (and a photo) from a web site - then alter it using different adjectives and/or persuasive language.
When you have planned and drafted your work, type it up on the college computer.
Finally, browse through a local estate agent's web page and find a suitable photograph to add to your work. Copy and paste this into your document. (Original instructions for Abingdon college students here).
