A counting game along similar lines to Snakes and Ladders. Learners will learn turn-taking, following instruction & basic counting skills. In addition, they will pick up social and communication skills along the way.
(Print onto A3 – a dice and counters needed)

Listening activities are few and far between but this fabulous set is ideal for, and fully mapped, to Entry 1 and 2 Functional English learners.

An announcement in a station
A notice in a waiting room
A news report
A telephone conversation
Each provides practice listening for gist and detail in short explanations. The ‘waiting room’ PDF also provides practice with listening to instructions.
Two on-screen cloze exercises. Cloze 1 – select correct words from drop down menus. Cloze 2 – type in correct words from word bank.
