Sc/E2.2: make requests and ask questions to obtain information in everyday contexts
Sc/E2.2b: ask for personal details
- form questions of the wh- type and the yes/no type, with appropriate intonation. Example: Arrange to visit someone, e.g.: - What's your address? - 23 London Road. - London Road, OK.
- use question form of simple present and simple past of common verbs and verbs be, do, have. Example: Exchange personal information with a classmate, e.g.: Have you got any children?
- have strategies for showing interest in the response given and be able to follow up on the response. Example: - When did you come to Britain? - Last June. - Last June? Mm, only two months... and what did you do in your country?
